The flowers of North Cyprus are something special.  Spring is the main time but as you can see from the chart at the bottom of this page there are lots of wild flowers to see between September and June.

In the heat of the summer there are still lots of cultivated flowers to see in gardens which have been watered.

The famous Black Tulip - Tulip Cypria - grows in great numbers near Camlibel
. The Cyclamen Cyperium is common and is found in our garden under the citrus trees.
The Ranunculus Asiaticus grows on rocky hillsides as well as pastures, widely in the eastern Mediterranean, Iran and Iraq

This orchid Orchis Anatolica var Troodi is very small and grows only in Cyprus [ North and also the South as its name implies ]
