A book of local walks is in the cottage and this is  the nearest one which takes 2 1/2 hours.  It is good for flowers and bird watchers.  Best in March for Black tulips and orchids, it is good for birds all through the year.

Undulating along tracks, it is a straightforward walk.  Other walks in the higher parts of the Kyrenia range can be strenuous.

Twenty five walks are in the book but, of course, impromptu walks can be discovered everywhere.

Friends in the next village, Hisakoy, organise a very popular Orchid Walk several times a week from mid-February to the end of April.
